吃得少,寿命长,这是民间的经验,也是修行里面的经验。
不过,还真有人要通过实验验证这一点,采用最笨的方法。
今天新出的《科学》杂志,有篇文章,就是讲美国威斯康辛大学等组成的一个研究组,花了整整20年,让76只猕猴来验证这点。
在1989年,他们把76只7岁到14岁的成年猕猴,对半分成两组,一组按正常的喂养方式予以喂养,也就是随猕猴吃个饱。另一组则在最初的3个月内,逐步把他们的食量所含的热量,从正常喂养量减少到70%,然后就一直以控制食物热量的方式进行饲养。
20年后的今天,算个总帐,发现,在前一组的38只猕猴中,最终有14只(37%)因患糖尿病、癌症、心脏病及脑萎缩等与衰老相关的疾病而死亡。而后一组猕猴中则仅有5只(13%)因上述疾病死亡,仅前一组的三分之一。
怎么样,看到这个结果,你会不会因此而每餐少吃点呢?特别是热量部分,例如糖类、淀粉类粮食、脂肪等。
这个事情,其实可能的机理并不复杂,日常消耗高热量的生理循环,是以细胞的高强度工作为代价的,难免没有细胞损伤的积累,或者,是细胞分裂世代数量的限制。

所以,在保证基本营养(蛋白质、维生素、微量元素之类,日常食物就包含有的)的前提下,减少日常食量到70%~80%,是有益身体的。
